This weekend I brewed my smoked amber ale recipe.
My first attempt at Ember (Smoked Amber Ale), was frustratingly unsuccessful. A variety of errors led to a decent beer that wasn't fully realized. The recipe had the makings of a great and fairly unique beer, and I had to give it another good.
Unlike my first crack at this recipe, brew day was very straight forward. The pre-hop boil ran a bit long, but I have high hopes for this beer. I'll give it a month a two to mellow, and look forward to enjoying one of these around a bonfuego this fall.
